The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday that Doug Risebrough will not return next season as general manager. The surprise move comes less than a week after coach Jacques Lemaire resigned. That means the Wild's two architects since its inception are gone.
DevilNurn
I say this is definitely good rather than bad. Risebrough lost Demitra and Rolston this offseason, and really didn't get anyone in return. His handling of Gaborik didn't help either. Kind of lost the spirit of the franchise and they need to get back on track. I think it'll be healthy for an overhaul of the team and this is how you do it. Hopefully they recover quickly.
