Personally I have always felt there has been too much emphasis on the traditional color'toned patterns of the crowd during playoff games. (and how it effects the psyche of the other team) It's nice to feel the comradery with your fellow fans, or as a novelty to look at on television... but I don't know. I don't think the opposing team fixates on that. I think they focus more on the game, and try to tune that out. What I DO know they CAN'T tune out however is the noise. You see it in baseball, you see it in football, the louder the fans get... the more the visiting teams' concentration/communication goes out the window. So it really makes me happy when I hear people say things like: "I couldn't hear a thing tonight" -&- "CAA never got that loud!" following our home games. Keep it up boys, if I had the money...
