I think it was like 17 bucks downstairs...pretty cheap. There hasn't been enough inflation over the last 20 or so to warent a 500% increase in tickets prices. It would be tough to compare the old days attendence to todays. We sucked back then and most of our to be fans followed the Ranger, Islanders, or Flyers. So I do not know how strong the teams attendance numbers could have been back then. We could have been like a Caroline Hurricanes type arena then....(empty).

There are three outdoor roller hockey rinks with in 10 minutes or less from my house. There are also ponds all over the place by me with a lot of people who play on them. Hockey is pretty popular in my town. There are alot of youth involved in the program also in my town. I think the price of hockey compared to other sports scared people away. I know it scared my parents, but i eventually convinced them. There are roller hockey leagues in a lot of please right by me. I am pretty much smack in the middle of North Jersey in Roxbury. So it is definatlly a growing sport in my opinion.

The Rangers gave him way too much money. Of course he would sign. Now he realized that he has enough money to last ten lifetimes and no shot at a cup as long as he is on the Rags. He had it good in NJ. I would take him back for half his salary tho. He has a good 5 or 6 years left in him.;

Hey, One time i signed up for interest in a partial plan. SO the guy called me a few times. Today he called me about getting playoff tickets in advance. We were talking for a little and i said i would call back next week with an answer. He told me that rounds 1 and 2 are almost completly sold out and are in EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND due to us winning the cup lat year. I thought it was kind of weird.

Stubbs, we only argue with you becuse you think that your point is so strong and correct. If you had valid facts to back up your arguement we would give you respect. But through your posts you have put up more bull sh!t than anything. I can find one solid statement you have made in support of the CAA. Can anyone else.

I have been to the skatepark called Rexplex. It is in an industrial place. It doesnt have an odor like you said and is very easy to get to. No crime out there it isnt in a slum... That isnt even where the new arena will be located...you have no idea what youa re talking about.

Hey last time i checked there is a college campus within walking distance from the new arena's proposed site. Thats tons of kids who have money each semester to spend on stuff....An arena....how perfect for the people aged 18 to 22. Not just for the devils but for Basketball and evets like concerts and whatnot.

Parking - There is no place for mass parking, nor is there place for an arena. Have you been to Newark. There is alot of vacent land. Just look at a place like REXPLEX.... It is a huge arena type building .....This arena is not going to be just in some lot in the middle of NEWARK. Think before you make these accusations...Also try going to Newark, and dont just assume stuff.

In response to your statment about having people from Newark go to the games, were you aware of the sixty thousand or so people attending college right down the block?
