On one end of the ice we have a goalie playing lights out. On the other we have Cory letting up Marty softies.

I'd love to hear triumphs take on Larsson after tonights game. Eye test it seemed like he got out muscled a bunch and even fell down and was scrambling twice tonight. He doesn't look like he belongs in the NHL, he's still a boy playing a mans game.

Honestly Cory has been solid, but we traded for a top goalie, Nabokov plays like this and costs less. He is stopping the ones most goalies should, but we got him to here to do more.

I wasn't aware merril was injured in the preseason. I had been thinking he was looking awfully pedestrian latley. Good to hear it's injury related. Also good thing my gut was off about tonight. Pretty good game from the Devils tonight. Larson looks terrible also, I'd prefer gelinas.

I wonder if pete is finally realizing Salvador sucks. I noticed after that goal where he was lifting the stick of someone that didn't have any role in the goal, that the d-lines started getting mixed up some. Saw zid out with merril I think. Would be great if that liability was finally gone.
