Just because they profess not to know, does not mean that they do not. Keeping the fans ignorant does not mean that the players themselves are. For all we know, Stevens could be right there in the dressing room every day- we have only their word to go on after all. As for the first part, that's all well and good (leaving out for a moment the fact that it's pissing and confusing the hell out of all of us, the fans) BUT all this constant media bs leads to the media asking the players again and again about Stevens, and whether they know the 'truth' or not, the constant media speculation KEEPS this thing at the forefront and they continually have to hear and read all this bs about how they can't win unless he comes back and it starts to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. And I doubt that Stevens is anywhere near the team, if he was he would have been tracked down long ago, don't you think?
