Jimmy Leeds
http://sg.news.yahoo.com/030220/1/381u5.html When's the red carpet for his trading partner Saddam Hussein coming out? Chirac supports Hussein and he supports Mugabe.
'7'
well, the "smear France" campaign is on. seems like every world leader is being called a "tyrant" and a "monster" these days.

sheeps
leeds, check out the washington post article on chirac from yesterday... i'll see if i can find it. we discussed it in one of my classes... basically what our conclusion was was that chirac can't logically accept war now without making himself look stupid, possibly losing popular opinion and any chance of being re-elected. because of this, he has to defend his position now more than ever. the us just have to count france out and deal with it. MaddDog
I'm having even more problems with ole' Chirac of late. Did you read how some British tabloid called him a 'worm' and published it in French for the French to read? Yikes! Granted, USA has 'supported' tyrants at one time or another, and it hasn't exactly thrilled me either, but it almost seems like Chirac is going OUT of his way to side with the DICTATORSHIP side against America. What gives??
