Devils1985
Tool Johnson in the lineup, Frazee activated, Coleman starts. Coach clear that Frazee's there to provide depth - it's Coleman's team. "top line" Henkel/Kell/Castonguay needs to step up. Here we go... Jackals with PP goal late in the first, 18:23. Rats. End first, 1-0 Jackals 2:40 or so into the second 2-0 Jackals as Trenton plays Three Stooges with the puck in their own end....and at 3:03 it's 3-0 as Faubert scores his second Um, not good here. 3-0 after 2 and time to send out the SOS as Trenton's in deep sh!t here. Brought some offense as the period went on but Teslak with a huge save with 15 seconds left put an exclamation point on the period. Better luck next time, 5-0 with an embarrassing goof by Coleman at the end to let in the 5th. Edited April 16, 2009 by Devils1985
titans04
Coleman's team but Paul said Frazee could easily get the start tomorrow.
Devils1985
Coleman's team but Paul said Frazee could easily get the start tomorrow. Not a bad idea since Coleman's already played three games +.
tharrison
Castonguay a minus 3 for the game- he's clearly coasting this series- time to waive bye bye for next year.
Shtikl
Wow, that was just... a total wreck! Roper actually sounded humiliated that he had to call that game. I guess the good news is, if they keep playing like that, they won't be back at the SBC to stink up the joint. But make sure you have paper bags just in case. TrentonPwnedFlorida
Some of you guys are just...well Im not even going to go there... In the Titans cup run...I seem to remember scores such as this against Alaska...and we still won the series. This is a best of 7... Elmira is up 2-1.... Theres atleast 2 games left in this series. Lets not all jump off the ship now...sheesh
titans04
Yep it's not over but seriously at this point Coleman's getting lit up like a christmas tree, the Henkel/Kell/Castonguay line has not only done very little offensively they've been dominated at even strength a combined - 20 so far. Teslak stopped what close to 80 shots in a row against us? If Helenius doesn't hand us game 2 on a silver platter it could be even worse. Blowing game 1 by giving up a goal with under 1 minute to go could turn out to be the difference when it comes to whether or not we see another game at SBA this season. Akeson is sorely missed, Prough struggling badly and Snetsinger, has he dressed for a game yet this series? When the Zancanaro/Eves/Rado line has been the best offensively that's a real problem to most of us anyway. Hopefully Frazee steps in and picks these guys up because if he doesn't the fat lady will be heading towards the stage after tonights game. Who knows maybe the first team ECHL defenseman and 2nd best in the league might even put up his 2nd sog before this series is over. But in the end you're right it's not over. Playing like they did the second half of the season, it's far from over. I don't know where these November T Devils came from but please send them back. We're down some bodies but not enough to cause what happened last night. Elmira smelled blood last night; hopefully they can shake it off.
