NYGDevils32
I've been to The Rock a number of times, and twice I went to Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits before the game. It's about 5 minutes walking distance form the arena, you just walk thorough Mulberry Street and then make a left and cross the street to get there. I was wondering if anybody here has ever ate there before a game because the two times I went, I didn't see any Devils fans... just some of Newark's people. Even though it's a block from the arena, it's not the worst part of Newark and the chicken and biscuits are worth it.

bondman99
There is a brand new pizza place on the corner of Broad St and Lafayette that we go too that has awesome pizza. The slices are huge and are only $1.75. My friend had an Italian Hot Dog with 2 dogs, peppers, onions, french fries, ketchup, mustard, all in a roll for like $4. They have a huge food selection and there are usually Devils fans in there before the games.
Kulags
They should really just put one inside the arena. Not that I'm afraid to explore a little, i just prefer the scent of gooooood fried chicken being cooked up while I'm watching me some hockey. DEV1LDR1VER
Can't remember if it was Broad or Market, but I found a Chinese restaurant I hit before a game while wondering around the area.
