This shows it doesn't take much to virtually guarantee a sell-out for most of the weeknight games. Giveaways like bobbleheads, pucks, mini-Brodeur masks, cheap t-shirts for ALL fans, $1 dog nights....all of which can be done for a low cost and bring significant profits through increased ticket sales....would help the attendance issues a lot. I guess their feeling is that too many giveaways would cause interest to wane after a while, but I don't think this would be the case. Heck, it's worth a try. I know this has been discussed to death around here, but it's worth mentioning again in this thread.
Btw, I attended the first puck giveaway last year and was sad to see how they botched it. I'll admit I purchased 4 pucks at $20/each, but I did get there very early in the day, waiting in line for up to 3 hours, anticipating such a fiasco. Glad to hear they cleaned it up with the second puck giveaway last season and the one next week.
I have an extra Daneyko puck that I'd be willing to trade with anyone (pm me). Guess it serves me right, to get a double, for being greedy
