His team started very slowly. They change coach after. He ectually doing everything he did before. And after coaching changing he has something like 6 points in 10-12 games or something like that. Nothing crazy good, but not as bad as his start. They play really bad as a team. I think the tools are there, hope he will return his production, anyway he is always watching and liking devils posts, he was interesting in Devils as organisation. And KHL is really tough league, he is Bratt-like player and his physical game for now isn`t quite good yet, he can spend one year in AHL to make a breath in easier hockey context, adapt his game for NA ice and listen new coaching voices. I should watch some of his actual games and make videos, just have some busy weeks, will do it later. The sad thing is Bardakov was injured, but thanks God, nothing really serious. (the moment was brutal). He is very talented kid, may be he will not score 20+ goals, but he read the game like... very talented players and he is really good forechecker and zone coverager. SKA missed only one goal in 16 games or something like that when he was on the ice. He has big potential to be good defensive center.

Filmon scores 7 goals and takes 5 assists in 9 games. 1.33ppg. He should be 1.35+ ppg player to be "a player you really could wait something from". If he will achive 1.5 ppg, we could wait more and have some real expectations. His team wasn`t really great year before and I believe isn`t really good this year(I don`t have opportunity to watch WHL games for now), so his pack of skills and result are very intriguing. I hope he will only add form, and not give up a little. And of course he needs to eat and pump a muscle.

Kaprisov deal is only starting point. When they talked about the deal with Fitz this summer I told it`s good to repeat thomas\norris\tkachuk\etc deals. Good we have cap raise in the next years. And even when Devils started to play good, people start to play in EA management. Meier trade can happen, but it isn`t good move. Meier isn`t consistent and will bring 10+ goals than Sharangovich(in the good season). And will cost 3-4 millions more. Deals of Hughes, Mercer and Nemec are ahead of us, Shakir`s future is interesting, Zetterlund is a question in a good way, Holtz has good potential and very young, some players needs more time, talent is there, that was not so hard to see it. And Nico new deal is far from today but this day will come. And goalie question is still exist. If Vanecek is the answer - his salary will goes up. Ofcourse Meier isn`t as bad idea as Gaudreau or Forsberg(those ideas were really bad ones), but still isn`t great money management. And asset management. Devils have nothing to replace Nico and Jack in injury cases, Mercer is bad center for now and for few next years I believe. I hope Fitz will contunie to make steps in the same direction as he did, I understanded his logic and he was predictable, in a good way.

Hope some people has less regrets with 2017 draft now. With Nemec and Luke in the pocket especially. Great that Fitz find more defensemen for his roster and now days of Shero is more far away. Holtz isn`t ready, it`s ok, mister Rossi produced nothing for now, but many wants him instead. For now Holtz lookin much better and scoring is still a problem for this roster. Trade him for not so consistent Meier who will ask a lot isn`t smart. And for financial aspect too. When Nico`s deal will done, Mercer, Nemec, Luke will have new deals, and there will go another "contention window" for this roster. Meier`s game isn`t age well and his chemistry with Nico didn`t exist on NHL level. I like that move much more than Gaudreau`s one, thank`s God Fitz didn`t play in muscle war until the end, don`t know how much Kekka could offer against. Meier is younger and his level and form actually matches with actual "first contenion window". But I prefer to save good assets, because it`s a free way to add good players without hurting the roster. Future draft is very deep, Devils can easily find two way\power center with good work ethic and producing potential, who can replace Jack or Nico if they will hurt themselves. We don`t have any in the pool, and if we will spend 17-20 mil for Meier+Bratt, we will have no room for sign good protection center and we will not draft him. And we can easily find one in the deep of the first round next year, there are a lot. And the center position isn`t the only issue, I like Vanecek game, but we still have questions, we don`t know how he will handle starter role on the long distance and we should find good 1B goalie. I prefer to stay with Holtz and wait to save 8 mil under the cap for the next two years, same with Zetterlund, both look like players with real top-6 potential. Cap management is excisting thing still. I know it sounds amazing to have Mercer, Bratt, Meier, Yegor, Palat as top-9 wingers in the same time, but I prefer to have good depth and don't put the team in a situation where we have to give up good young players. Especially if this player is Nico Hischier.

A lot of young defensemen, i`m not a big fan of young defensive lines. If they will find very good trade for real good goalie or third line productive defensive player, I would be not against and will understand the step. On the other hand, if he can adapt to the NHL and find his place in the squad, I see no reason to turn down the opportunity. I understand his real weaknesses and strengths and imagine how he can be used.

I think 25 is a good bet. He is playing solid game now. They can focus on team playing, because now he isn`t the only one who can shoot and score, they don`t focus on his shot anymore. His game is much more steady this year, he helps with retrieving the puck and protect the ice. Some people don`t like him, because in their magical contending team all of theirs top-6 players have 1 ppg, but this isn`t what is goin on with contending team.

I`m not talking about salary, i`m talking about the price in the trade. Nemec on controlling deal is a better choice for me than Debrinkat for two years potentially.

I didn`t like the price. And as we see, having scorer is a problem for Devils, but having player who can support, win the battles and create space was even the biggest problem. Tkachuk would be ideal solution, but again - price. Between potential great defenseman and biggest part of his career and great 40 goals scorer and potentially two years of his career I prefer the first one.
