  1. Or wait one more year and LoseForLawrence.
  2. And it ain’t either of ours lol
  3. Thank you. This is literally all I was trying to say. At least that was my original point anyway.
  4. I’m a big football fan, and we love to debate who’s elite and who’s not. Especially at QB.
  5. We’re just going to have to agree to disagree. You guys are focused on what will happen in the future, and I’m going off what they’ve already done. They were both amazing/elite players last season, imo. Hence the hardware (Stanley Cup and Calder Trophy).
  6. How about Elias Pettersson? Is it too early to call him an “elite” or “amazing” player? He only has 71GP, but many would probably consider him one.
  7. What does it matter that it’s a small sample size? He was a top goalie during his time in the league last year. That’s undebatable. And that’s all we can judge him off so far. I really don’t know what the argument is here...
  8. He was last season. Top 4 in Sv% and top 3 in GAA. Whether he will be going forward is anybody’s guess. STL doesn’t win that Cup with Jake Allen in net though, that’s for sure.

  10. I guess Pietrangelo probably is, but I stand by my point, which is it took a hell of a goaltending performance for them to win. I could have easily seen the Conn Smythe going to Binnington instead of ROR. And he’s the biggest reason the team turned things around in January.
  11. The Blues had a fantastic supporting cast? That team was in dead last place until Binnington came up in January. Who exactly would you consider fantastic on STL? ROR certainly was, and Tarasenko is an elite player, but that’s about it. Those 2 were their only players that had over 60 points last year. They are hardly the Cup winning Hawks or Pens..
  12. I’m not sure I necessarily agree with that. Just look at the Cup final last season. Two great goalies in Rask and Binnington. The year before that it was MAF and Holtby. Sure you can win with guys like Corey Crawford or Matt Murray if you surround them with a bunch of HoFers, but having elite goaltending is just as important as ever, imo.
  13. His best is probably behind him. I just hope he doesn’t have any more unbelievable runs of losing games that last weeks, or even months...

  16. Oh please. I see nothing wrong with making a case for a player one way or the other. People can obviously vote how they want regardless.
  17. Can’t believe Will Butcher, who broke the franchise record for points by a rookie defenseman is going to get bounced before Pavel “Almost” Zacha...

  19. Ok, the Zacha thing was funny at first, but now...
