'7'
TSN.ca Staff 4/13/2006 10:49:05 AM Sudbury Wolves' defenceman Marc Staal, who signed a contract with the New York Rangers after being drafted in the first round of the 2005 draft, will join the Rangers in the next few days, once immigration paper work is cleared up. The Wolves were eliminated from the OHL playoffs earlier this week. The Rangers had hoped to have Staal in their lineup tonight, but immigration hurdles prevented that. If all goes well, Staal could be in the Rangers
thefiestygoat
I hear this kid is going to be great. I bet Derek is excited to see him play and help the Blueshirts in the future.
Don
To quote Pierre McGuire, in the World Juniors this year, Staal WAS A MONSTER!!!! And that's no exaggeration. Without him, there is no way that we would have taken home the gold. Personally, I find it very, very unfortunate that there is going to be a player on the Rangers that I like.
