'7' Posted May 10, 2006 Share Posted May 10, 2006 I wonder if there have really been studies done on this...and what constitutes a "win" on an opening faceoff? a clean drawback? because sometimes they scrum around for a few seconds and there is no real clear possesion. The team who gains controll of the puck is the face-off winner, even if it takes a few seconds of "rumbling".
