Pepperkorn
I think people are a bit too quick to the draw on this one. Everything (N)Єverson said in this article is consistent with the quotations from Devils players and Sutter. What did he say that didn't jive with their own self-assessments?People here are uber-sensitive to the barest perceived slight from this guy. You should read what Damien Cox, a columnist for the Toronto Star, says about the Leafs. He excoriates them, often hilariously, at every chance he gets. He's actually a Devils fan too, always comparing the Leafs crapitude to the Devils organizational awesomeness. (N)Єverson is not as bad as people think. And why would people not want to post links to his articles anymore? Other than Rangers trolls, his articles create more lively discussion and hilarious ripostes than anything else on the board. Weekes Head
Are we still talking about him? It doesn't matter if what he's writing is actually technically good or stylistically pleasing, if we continue to talk about him, he's a success. You don't have to be a good writer to be successful at it. This board won't shut up about him...if nothing else, he's infamous on NJDevs, and I think he will be for a long time, because people just can't seem to let go of what he has to say. In my eyes, that's success, even if it's a warped version of it.
Devils731
(N)Єverson is successful like Claude Vilgrain and Lyle Odelein were success' then. Still remembered but either with ire or basically as a joke.
