njdevsfn95 Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 the real question is whether or not the deal is EXCLUSIVE. i would like it if VS isn't the only possible national cable channel. hopefully the word "renew" does not mean "extend" because i believe they are exclusive according to the old contract. it would say a lot of the NHL could get on two national cable channels. DaneykoIsGod Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 As much as it sucks to be stuck on a second rate network like Versus, hopefully this can develop into something bigger. ESPN needs competition, period. Versus isn't even close to their level, but you've gotta start somewhere.
