He simply has not brought enough to the table as of this point in the season to warrant a new contract offer. If he busts out in the playoffs, though, we may have a different story altogether. FoF: As Marty gets up there in age, he will eventually start fewer than 70 games a season in more than one season (he has four seasons left under this current contract).
