devilsrule33
Canada beats Sweden is OT on a goal that had to be reviewed for about 6 minutes and wins the Gold. The hero is Anson Carter!!!!! Oh ya Canada!!!!
insanity_gallops
Enjoy it, Carter -- ya won't be in a pressure situation like that again for a while. Just kiddin'. Congrats to Canada... too bad Team USA got whalloped.
Tie_Domi
kinda a bizzare way to end it...... they celebrate...... wait for 5 minutes while nothing happens, then celebrate again...
Dagwood
I was impressed with the work the guys in the trunk did to enhance the only view they had showing the puck crossing the line. It was a nice goal by Carter and it would have been a shame for it to be disallowed. Thanks to the Ducks and Wild for supplying some top notch players for the tournament And that goes for NJ and Ottawa as well!
SBT
Hard to get excited about the Worlds (with a lot of no-name players) when we just had the NHL-laden Olympics last year. Having it take place halfway around the world doesn't help either.
devilsrule33
Well SBT maybe for, an American who's team had like two NHL players while team Canada had a full roster of NHL players.

You can't compare Canada's Olympic roster with their World roster. They're worlds apart, chief.

SBT
Gotta admit. It does take A LOT of the luster off the tournament.
Tie_Domi
Canada was using something that would be close to thier C team if they had all players available.
