LA03
My friends and I want to go to the game on saturday. We are thinking about trying for $10.00 seats. We did it last year with no problem, but it was against the Kings and it wasn't a crazy line. I'm worried we won't get seats this year unless we go to the box office crazy early since it's against the Flyers. We're still not sure what we're going to do yet. There is a big group of us (about 12 of us are interested in the $10.00 seats not so sure how many would still be in if tickets got any more expensive than $10.00). Some of us are also throwing around the idea of getting tickets on stubhub. I have never used stubhub and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it in regard to a service charge/shipping. The tickets are a decent price, but I'm not sure how much they charge in a service fee/shipping and how much above the list price I would have to tell my friends they would be spending. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks in advance for your help! The only option on StubHub is FedEx, so usually the shipping's a decent amount extra. What'd I'd recommend doing is go through the steps on StubHub right up until you physically place the order - that way you can get an exact amount. Just cancel out of it on the last screen before you have to place the order.
mac760
I believe the service charge is 10% (min $5) plus $20 for Fedex. But if you find tix with a little "e" icon they are edelivery for only $5 saving you $15. Best of luck whatever you decide. Anna999
I tried the $10 line for the first Devils-Rangers game this season. Got there around 1 or 2 and ended up getting the last couple of tickets. And I also get tickets off of StubHub pretty often, always get them e-mailed. 10% service charge, and $4.95 for the e-mail delivery. Just got them for tomorrows game at $6.99 a piece, can't beat that. Good luck
cupcake23
We usually get off of StubHub via email because the shipping is just really crazy. It was like $16.95 for overnight. If you find the ones with the "e" those can be emailed. I got tickets for tomorrow on Saturday for $13 each. It was well worth it.
LA03
Thanks for the advice/feedback guys. I think we're just going to try for the $10 seats as some people in my group do not want to spend more than that to see the game. I'm not sure what we're going to do if they run out of $10 seats by the time they get to us in line. Either we will buy tickets at the box office assuming they have some left in the upper levels that aren't crazy expensive.(My one friend who doesn't really like hockey that much who still wants to go to be social said, "I don't even pay $35 to see the yankees and I love the yankees.") If we don't get the seats then I guess we'll watch at a bar or something. We were thinking of getting there for 2PM, but now that I've read this thread and what someone mentioned about the Ranger game I'm thinking we should probably get there a little earlier. It's frustrating organizing this whole thing. I would be okay with spending more than $10 just to know I have seats, but this isn't the consensus. (and obviously I'm a Devils fan and like hockey so of course I would be willing to) We'll see what happens. I have no idea what time I'll be in Newark on saturday. I feel like before noon is ridiculously early and who wants to stand outside for that long?!
Anna999
Yeah the Rangers game I was talking about was on a Monday and there were lots of people, so you'll probably have to get there earlier since it's a Saturday game. I think you should be ok if you get there by noon, but then again, you never know if that fails, there's always someone lurking around with extra tickets hope everything works out for you! Masked Fan
... I'm not sure what we're going to do if they run out of $10 seats by the time they get to us in line..... .... If we don't get the seats then I guess we'll watch at a bar or something..... BINGO! But then, if you're like me, you'll be spending more then the ticket price on booze! Good luck!!
