titans04 Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Hope so but way to early to tell with so many unknowns in camp also a lot riding on the next couple of guys that are sent down. Caruso is very good at the ECHL level. If I had to guess I would think scoring goals is still going to be the biggest challenge. Reading, Elmira and Cincy look to be stacked so if we're playing on paper this time of year we're way behind going in. With only 4 teams making the playoffs in the division this year instead of 5 getting off to a good start is very important. However it would be pretty difficult to not be better than last year. Not that old of a kid..... I dunno he might be ok...Guess we gotta wait to see him play. If he does somebody either gets cut or moved to the 30 day IR (Cormier?). Hopefully Poli really isn't hurt after not playing on Sunday. Worst news - Poli is also out now with an injury. One of the two real offensive threats on the roster. Haven't really seen him but when you look at his numbers and fight card he seems like he'll bring some much needed toughness on the back end. Can't hurt much that's for sure, we'll see this weekend. I really hope they're looking for a goalie (Ryan Nie), I have no faith that Jason can carry the majority of the workload with any kind of success. I would guess somebody will be returning from injury this weekend being they cut two guys yesterday (Thomassian and Bletzer) and only added Burnett and the ebug.
