This is only a bad thing if you're incredibly lazy. My school requires 50 hours each year, and I usually get it done in 3 weekends by volunteering at a skatepark on Saturdays. at 8 hours a day, it would take 13 saturdays to get 100 hours. Not a big deal. And, i'm sure there are plenty of ways to earn it faster.
