Yeah this is the wrong place for metal talk. None of those bands are close to Nu-metal at all and none are satanic-inspired.

So it's 2003 and we are outside the arena rocked off our asses celebrating the cup victory. It's was some time after 1am and some players had even left. There's ~30 out there partying. Well here comes Turner Fvck!n Stevenson still in full gear w/ slippers with the god dam cup. He brought it out for us to take a peek and a touch for about 2 minutes. I sh!t you not. How many players would think to do that in the middle of all that was going on?

Not offended. Just surprised at being told to stop making threads and being accused of spamming. I didn't think my 4 threads for discussion were overrunning the section. It's all good. I'll keep the metal underground. It seems like only 2 people on the boards were interested in the metal, so I won't waste my time. No worries.

You know, metal/hard rock and hockey go together. I see in the news feeds forum articles from other sites I go to copied and pasted there. There are not many replies to them so it looks to me like people are not interested posting about them. Then I see an off topic forum where I could discuss metal and maybe spread the name from some bands and discuss them with Devils fans. I only posted bands with names relating to the Devils theme, like this site reading Welcome To Hell and a Hell board. I posted about Heaven Shall Burn, Lamb Of God, DevilDriver, and Maiden's 666 movie. Then I get flamed and my topics are tossed into one incoherent thread. What a fickle group who click and read topics they are not interested in. I guess the other members know not to introduce topics they are enthusiastic about in the off topic board. For a minute I was happy to find a Devils message board.

Doc is "The Man". How appropriate he works with Chico?!

I feel your pain and understand your frustration but think you're off base here. I believe Brodeur is not sharp because he missed 40 games and is coming back from an injury. Yes he should have played better against Toronto, but he needs to get his game back. Jacques Caron is working with Marty and he will get there. I don't think you honestly believe Sutter thinks it's good to get 40 shots a night on Marty. If he sees that many shots regularly the problem is the 5 guys in front of him. But if he's letting too many go in, Sutter is not playing him because he's happy with Marty's play. Sutter is playing him because you can't duplicate game situations in practice. The last 2 games Marty will start to get ice time to prepare for the playoffs. He is not starting because Sutter is happy with his game lately.

By Marty giving up some soft goals and overall not playing up to his abilities, where do you get he is acting spoiled pansy? He wants to win but his attitude is tiresome? Where on the ice or reports from the locker room are you getting these conclusions? When playing badly during a game all any of the players can try to do is play their way out of it (which hasn't happened too much besides the Tampa game). I'm sure they are as frustrated as the fans when they are losing. I wouldn't confuse bad on ice performance with being spoiled, soft, self-centered, or not caring.

Heavy metal needs Devildriver. In fact, they could very well save the genre. These five individuals proved that on stage at the Hollywood Palladium this past Friday. On a bill stacked with fan darlings Lamb of God and Children of Bodom, Devildriver put on the most memorable and maniacal set of the evening. After watching them lay waste to the moshing crowd, it was clear that they should've been atop the bill. Right when Devildriver hit the stage, it felt like an atom bomb had been dropped. Frontman Dez Fafara simply screamed, "Hometown motherfvckers, I want to see you go absolutely nuts!" He got his wish, as his band mates ignited the beginning of "Nothing's Wrong." Drum demon John Boecklin is one of the fastest guns in the west, but that's not even the best part of his playing

Kenny Powers is one of the funniest characters ever put in HBO series. That guy played the cousin in Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller. He plays a tool in that movie as well.

I haven't given Wrath a solid listen, but did have it on with some friends over a "few" beers. I herd some cool riffage in Grace but did expect a more powerful album based on some quotes from the drummer.

The bands I have chosen to post about IN THE OFF TOPIC THREAD have titles relating to the Devils theme. I'm sorry if you listen to Britney Spears and have no balls. It would never cross my mind to click on a thread I have no interest in. but have enough time to waste and post to tell someone not to make threads. Or do you have to read every post on these boards. You should just go away and mind your own business..

There's no way in Marty does not play. It is no longer about the division title. It is no longer about the points. Hell, maybe not even wins. It is about Marty (and the team) getting his game back in line for the playoffs. He was pretty bad last night. His rink rust is really showing now. Clemmer will be a reliable back up for the playoffs. No more. It is a shame when Brodeur has a personal slump Devils Fans post on their own board Marty doesn't care about the team, Marty got his 3 cups, and 552. That's all he wanted. If you honestly believe he's got what he came for, and doesn't want to win anymore or doesn't care about the team you might was to reconsider calling yourself a Devils or hockey fan. That position is absolutely laughable.

Old school Devils when they don't score. 48 shots and 1 goal? Looks as if the D did something, limiting Leafs to 18 shots. 4 goals on 18 shots? Marty is still getting his game back. Maybe the 1st 10 back were on adrenaline and now he has to still develop his game sharpness. One good sign is there were a few terrific chances. Maybe the puck bounces the Devs way in the playoffs.

So far no goals against in 13+ minutes. Hopefully a SH goal will start the turnaround.

Looks like they are done shooting from the point and insist on passing down low and shooting from the side of the net. Rolston not horrible but not impressive and no good rebounds on his shots. Though I am trying to watch from work.

I am assuming he did at some point because I don't know how I would have gotten mine any other way. But that was so long ago I could have bought one from him and never remember. Did he design them? Or just sell them. That was a great idea at the time.

Did he caught by security? I think I had one, but I new absolutely nothing about the Dead. So I got mine from security somehow...I don't know if I was working in Souvenirs yet at that time. But I had one of those and eventually it got trashed.
