I respect Clarkson's intention. However the rule is the rule and regardless of intention suspension was rightful. However (and I might get flamed for this) I think a 10 game suspension was a small price to play for protecting your fellow teammate. Face it if this was a year ago and it was Clarkson and Kovy instead of Clarkson and Kessel we would be all defending this and wishing for appeals. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be suspended but I act definately respect his motive for coming off the bench.

As I said on HF a great potential goal song would be the new Stone Temple Pilots track "Out of Time". Maybe it's because I'm an STP fanboy but imagine that clock winding down, we score and the whole arena chants "OOOOOOH YOU CAN'T HIDE, OOOOOO YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!" That would be intimidating as hell to another team.

I actually thought the Islanders were a good fit for him before they decided to re-sign Nabby. Florida re-signed Markstrom so that avenue is out. Calgary would realstically be the best fit for him but I think Feaster is set on rolling with Ramo/McDonald. (Yuck) If he could suck it up and deal with being a back-up then Boston would be a fantastic place for him. Rask/Bryz would be solid.

Swap Brunner and Jagr in that lineup? I think Brunner has played LW as well as RW before...

That's how you would fit each of Ryder, Jagr and Brunner on the top six. If Clowe is supposed to be our "Clarkson replacement" then he should have no problem playing on the third ine. We'd also one of the best bottom sixes in the NHL with that lineup...

I'm hoping it's a 4-5 year deal personally. Henrique could very well be the future of the franchise (besides Larsson) it should be important that he is locked up long term.

When I do buy autographed pucks/photos I usually go by the seller's feedback ratings and do a quick compaision on other autographs but I do get what you are saying...it's very difficult to NOT get a fake these days. I just started my small jersey collection now. This + season tickets + signed memorabilia (pucks/sticks/photos) + my Adam Larsson and Brodeur card collections make for a very expensive (yet so very much worth it) hobby

Because whenever I go onto ebay it's always cheap, Chinese knockoffs (and you can tell) perhaps I just don't look that often but I've never really had a good experience with ebay when it comes to jerseys. Hockey cards and signed pucks/photos on the other hand...

I love your attitude. I never got how Ranger and Flyer fans could be so arrogant when they've amounted to jack-sh!t in the last few decades. We are without a doubt the only tri-state team that has the right to be arrogant and we get the least respect. (Not that it's something I'm not used to.) I welcome stories like this. So lookie what I got for $30 bucks the other day via Ebay. For that price it's amazing quality. I never buy jerseys off auction but wow. I was considering stripping it to make it a Henrique/Zajac jersey but I'm actually a big fan of Bobby Holik and I rarely see any jerseys of his at the Rock. I really have no ill will towards how he left either. Not to mention my dad has a Peluso jersey so it goes hand-in-hand with that. All I would need is a McKay jersey and I'm set. Lol. I have a SKA program with Kovy on the cover that I got via Ebay during the lockout (Ironic to own now) which I might just keep in storage and a Kovalchuk signed puck that I will keep as well. I invested a lot more in Larsson then Kovalchuk thank goodness...but if he leaves then I'll really be screwed. Lol.
