We need a change for the sake of a change, period. DeBoer's system is great if you have players that can keep up with the puck, we don't we have slow players. DeBoer's system wears out players and we have aged players that get tired. DeBoer's system requires speed to implicant the surprise and score a goal. Not with this group of players they are slow and telegraph what they are doing next. Let's make the change in two steps, first by the weekend remove the "C" from Salvador that will send a message to the players and the coaches. Next step if no improvement remove DeBoer that will send another message to the players. If no improvement start dumping older players ASAP and regroup with new GM.

I agree that Cory takes a lot of blame, he is hard on himself and I also think he take the blame for his teammates mistakes. I have faith it will work out for Cory but only if the offense and defense get their sh!t together.

Cory is struggling but the defense in front of him right now is poor. We all agree Salvador and Zidlicky are playing very poor D. Gelinas is playing poor as well. Greene is doing very little. Larsson and Severson are making mistakes on D. Merrill is injured. That's tough to overcome along with the offense struggling.

Boston Bruins, better players, better coach, better GM and better team. So we lost again? Does anyone care other than Devils fans?

I would like to see DeBoer put Cammy, Zajac and Jagr together and leave them together for 10 games and see if that line will produce. Then work on the Elias line with Havlet back and get Zubrus off that line and put Henrique in his place to get production from the 2nd line. Get some chemistry going with both those lines. Then build a third line around Josefson.

Devils Strong As stated they are bang up as well. Krug may be back tonight but someone else went out their last game. If we get Cammy and Havlet tonight we should be OK for a well fought game.
