Starting today, 44 of the best U.S.-born junior-age players will be on the ice at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., in a quest to make the U.S. team for the 2012 World Junior Championship.

Of those 44 players, nine played for the U.S. team which won the bronze medal last year in Buffalo, including two -- Jack Campbell and Jason Zucker -- who are going for their third chance at a WJC medal.
