eaglejelly
ESPN Nice Artticleabbout the Blackhawks. I especially enjoyed the comment about the Rangers There's a lot to overcome, including those final years of the previous collective bargaining agreement. The Blackhawks acted as if they were a small-market team, needing to pare and balance the books. Financial aggressiveness -- reasonable financial aggressiveness, not Rangers-style silliness -- still would have been justifiable given the real and potential advantages in the NHL's largest one-team metro area. point
"Those fans are out there and they want to come back. They're out there by the thousands, every home-game night in the arena and every game night in front of the television." Those fans sitting home are watching Redwings games 'cause the 'Hawks are blacked out. Detroit has eaten the Chicago fan base, what a loss. brodeurrocks
Not sure about this season or next but the Hawks should have a hell of a team in a few seasons if some of these draft picks pan out. They some great prospects in Toews, Blunden and Kane. They need to get some D-Men.
