Elias Sports Bureau Posted March 13, 2003 Share Posted March 13, 2003 One of the newspaper stories said Tverdovsky was healthy scratched just like Gomez (it could be in part because there were deals in the works, it seems TOO outlandish to think they weren't.) But Tivo said Burns wasn't happy with his effort. And he's right. Very very disappointing since he came back. Not even the player he was before going out this year. I think it was precisely the timing of the scratching, right after the deadline, that says: "Lou and Burns want you here, but you have to play better. We need you guys for the playoffs." And we really do. Now, hopefully they will respond. Tverdovsky's been unremarkable since coming back, and Gomez has been unremarkable in too many games this year..
