DTV was gonna launch FSNY HD and MSG HD as soon as today, but they prefer to launch all HD channels on Wednesdays and decided to hold off until next week. So for all you DirecTV subscribers who have been suffering the injustice of watching SD Devils and Islanders games...(the Rags deserve less than SD...but that's a different story)...the wait is almost over. My source is a high ranking employee from DirecTV (Upper echelon executive). I hope I don't come away with egg on my face, but he's sworn to me that this is true and that my the middle of next week FSNY and MSG will be launching on DTV and it was a full broadcast contract so no local blackouts of Devils or Islanders Games.
