Currently, there are no DJs. There are no commercials (I'm assuming because the switch was sudden and they don't have sponsors). It's just modern rock music. So far I've heard: Florence + The Machine (twice), The Killers (new song), Nirvana (twice), Gorillaz, The Lumineers, The Royal Concept, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park (twice, but both new songs and both surprisingly good). Not bad so far. Keep an eye (ear?) on this, I think there's potential for success, especially since they went back to RXP-style music in a market that's terribly underserved for that kind of stuff.

We finished in the top half last season. 14th overall. Just sayin'. Despite all the crap Oates took, the PP rebounded nicely in the second half and finished deceptively high compared to what I think most Devils fans would have thought. Edit: That was supposed to be in reply to CtD, not MadDog. Not sure how that happened...

It's hard to compete with a guy who broadcasts Devils games for those who can't watch. Unfair advantage, I says.

It kind of pisses me off to see that video of someone burning their Parise tee shirt. I mean look, if it bugs you that much that he left and you swear you'll never ever wear it again, give the fvcking thing to Goodwill or drop it in a clothing donation box. Don't be wasteful purely out of spite of a guy you've never meaningfully met. Me, I've got a throwback Parise jersey that I'll probably still wear because I like the colors on our throwback jerseys. Maybe get the name changed someday but I doubt it.

For tall the "fvck you Zach" crap...to a man almost everyone here said they didn't want to re-sign him for an insane contract. $98 million for 13 years and a full no movement clause sounds pretty insane to me. This isn't Scott Gomez signing with the Rangers for a ridiculous sum after spending the last couple of years here sleepwalking and looking like he had no desire to play here. I think it's pretty apparent that this was not an easy choice for Parise. He went to his hometown team, which happened to be the one willing to give him the most insane contract. I probably won't be at the game against the Wild, but if I do make it, I will not boo him.

Damn. McKenzie confirms. Oh well. Could be worse, I don't dislike the Wild, and I can't blame him for signing with his hometown team for a ridiculous amount of money, a ridiculous number of years, and ownership stability and security. It's gonna suck seeing people teeing off on him here and on Twitter for making his decision though.
