Beating a long dead horse here, but I feel that all these deals where a third team takes part of a player salary is not within the “spirit of the cap”.

So basically the list of people who must be held accountable is Holtz, Nemec, and occasionally Miller. Meanwhile Luke can just continue doing whatever he’s doing. I know he’s Jacks bro and he’s going to be something big for this team eventually but he’s not infallible yet.

Lindy was the guy to get a young team to the next level, but he wasn’t the guy who could get them to the ultimate goal. Many of us said the same even after last years playoff run. It’s still too little too late and that’s all on Fitz. I’m sorry that it was a “tough conversation” for him but that’s why you have the big boy job. Now please don’t throw away too much on a bandaid goaltender. If the right deal isn’t there, there’s no need to force one. See who is on the trading block around draft time.

Fitz is a Shero clone. Just playing the wait and see game for entire seasons. If he makes the Markstrom deal now it’ll be way too little too late.

im very happy with the win but this does bother me. It felt like last season these guys would run through walls for each other. Maybe I’m misremembering it but I don’t recall seeing apathy like this last season. It was common in our bad seasons over the past decade though

It’s really nice to have our goalie make a big save and then our guys get the momentum. Usually it seems like it’s the other way around

Lindy is just picking names out of a hat to make the lineup at this point. He will literally try ANYTHING to avoid Holtz on one of the top lines. Lazar and Palat have a combined 15 goals. Why would they be with Jack?!? And I’ll never understand why it seems that every coach we have picks some random player who contributes nothing and refuses to scratch him. For Lindy that’s his Smith obsession. Sitting Miller to play Smith on his off side is just asinine.

Fitz won’t do a thing. Remember when went through 74 goalies a couple of years ago and his solution was Andrew Hammond? i think Fitz is a great team builder but he has no idea what to do when things don’t go according to plan. Like Shero it seems he has a plan and if there’s a curveball he just freezes

I’m usually one of those into the draft stuff but I just can’t get into it this year. Not after the last decade of hoping for the right ping pong balls. What’s the point of the draft if Ruff can’t manage young players anyway? He does nothing to correct Luke, who has been spiraling. He acts like Holtz ran over his dog most nights. And I have no hope for Fitz. He’s another Shero, wasting entire seasons on waiting and seeing. He only pokes his head out to accept a new contract, wear a Nashville jersey, or watch his kid play.
