The usual. Devils-opponent 0-0 after the first. Opponent will get the first two in the second period. The Devils will get one back in the second or the third. The opponent makes it 3-1 at some point in the third period. And then the obligatory empty net goal by the opponent with the Devils pathetic attempt to try and score with the net empty. Who else is so fvckin tired of this movie?

I guess it's time for us Devils fans to ride off into the sunset on this season. There's really no reason to watch the rest of these games. Just come back in October and maybe next season will be better.

Others here will dispute you and say that the Devils still have a bright future, but I'm with you. They need a competent NHL goalie and the cost will be too much for that. They will have their goalie, but at what price. If they have to rob Peter to Paul then what's the point?
