ESPN to me is like my screen name, a bunch of CLOWNS!!! cbssportsline.com is a better site too, it comes up MUCH quicker because they dont have 5000 promotions going on, such as "Dream Job", SportsNation, Season on the Stink, PlayMakers Promos....ESPN 2,3,4,and 5 pages....AND cbsportsline.com gets stories before ESPN in MANY occassions (football, baseball, etc) BOYCOTT E$PN NOW!!!!

I HAVE RETURNED!!! Derek21 boasting about how much he loves the Leafs now hs made me absolutely sick to my stomach, I feel compelled to speak about the Leafs... You know why I hate the Leafs so much? Because of their fans, they think they "invented hockey", they talk down to Sabres fans like myself, thinking because they won Cups when there were 6 teams was an AMAZING accomplishment, oh so great, heads or tails, heads, Toronto wins the cup! Please... Sabres have been around since 1970, in that span they have been to 2 Finals, and have missed the playoffs I think 8 times in 33 years....Leaf$ Zero Cup Appearences (thank for Wayne Gretzky for 1993!)...and oh yes, 1999 Eastern Conference Finals, Sabres in 5, thank you very much...but yet, de$pite all this, I still hear trash from Leafs fans as if the Sabres are inferior...may I ask why??? Why, because they have been around longer? Please TO give me a break! I was at Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant in TO when the Devils hosted TO in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference QuarterFinals (I think it was 2000, the year the Devs won it all), it was the game where the Devils held TO to 6 shots on goal....well Im in a room with a bunch of TO fans and Sykora scores 30 seconds ina nd I went NUTS...of course I got cursed out....but the funny thing is almost all the TO fans I talked to, the reason TO lost the series was because of injuries...I said to one fan "Did it ever dawn on you that maybe the Devils are just better? The guy looked at me like I was nuts....thats one example why I hate this friggin team with such a passion it hurts..... And of course being a Yankee fan, I hear TO fans moan and whine about the Yankees all the time, but if their payroll is 2 1/2 X the amount of the Sabres, and they get Leetch, oh, thats perfectly ok..what a bunch of hypocrites they are...I dont complain about $ anymore...it is what it is... Theres no greater thrill Ill get personally then to see the Leafs lose...Derek21, I completely understand your reasoning for pulling for TO...Leetch was a great Ranger so it makes sense...but believe you me, Toronto winning may perhaps be one of the darkest days I ever see as a sports fan!!

This is my last post, Ive had it, I have my reasons (nothing about the Devils though)...good luck to your Devils, theyll beat Buffalo tomorrow I know it, nothing ever changes....take care all

As a long time Sabres fan, I voted no, because usually the first knee-jerk reaction when being a Buffalo fan (Bills and Sabres as I am) is to think negative, which I embrace now, there is nothing that can happen to a Buffalo sports fan that will disappoint me again, weve seen it all when it comes to bitter disappointments! I equate the Sabres to a basketball team, right now its almost the end of the 3rd quarter and one team is down by 14 pts, then the other team (lets call them the Sabres) go in a 12-0 run to cut the lead to 2, but so often when that happens it is very difficult for that team attempting to make the comeback to get over the hump and take the lead, and more times then not they fall back behind by 7 or so.... I just do not have enough faith in their goalie tandeum right now, personally I prefer Noronen over Biron, but Ruff will continue to rotate, and I do not have that much confidence in the Sabres on the road either, while I think they will make it interesting, I think they will fall a few points short, I hope Im wrong, because I know Derek21 is feeling so confident with this team all of the sudden, but I just dont see the Sabres getting in... As for Tim Horton, I was reading a great article about him the other day, after reading it, it made more sense to me the reason the Sabres retired his number: Tim Horton- The Day the Legend Died

I suffered with that fellow "Clown" Gratton as well, and believe you me, the day I heard he was dealt for Daniel Briere, I felt like Christmas came early...I offer early sympathies for you if you have to deal with Gratton

The ONLY way the NHL will get more time on that piece of crap network E$PN is more controversy, more bold statments, more chaos, thats what E$PN craves and the NHL dosent do that...and personally I could care less what E$PN thinks of hockey, let them have their "Season on the Stink" (borrowed from Derek21, I cannot take credit for that LOL), The Sports Reporters III or IV where whiny reporters moan and groan about every little thing, their reality shows, and whatever they do, whats next, Sportcenter will be 2 hours? Please, what inmate or drug addict will they indirectly attempt to glorify next??? DOWN WITH E$PN!!

Hell wear it and proclaim himself to be a Devils fan after another bad start next year for the Rangers with Dictator $ather at the helm!!!!

I couldnt agree more, and the old Aud was just the opposite....14,000+ capacity and it was 100X louder...and the beauty of that arena was if you sat close enough to him, you could hear Jennerant right behind you as a goal was scored!! LOL... If it were up to me, give me some TNT, Ill blow up that new arena and open up the Aud in a heartbeat!!!

E$PN IS GARBAGE!!!!!! I HATE that station with a passion, they try to cover hockey and they embara$$ themselves OVER AND OVER again..and hockey isnt good enough for their "sports" show Sportcenter, whats next E$PN, a Big Brother-esque show at Dan Patrick's house, watch all the action as Linda Cohn attempts to live with the BOOYEAH man Stuart Scott..... I CANNOT TAKE THAT STATION ANYMORE!!!!!

This dosent solve all of Phillys issues at all, Zhamnov is a nice player and will help, but does the prospect of facing Sean Burke in a 7 game series really make you feel that uneasy??? Bobby Clarke is a jerk and clueless!!

My take: Wake me up after the summer, because well see countless stories from so called "insiders" and we find out over and over again in all sports that they just may be making up 1/2 the stuff they write..I hope the NY Post (especially that weasel Larry Brooks) reads that last comment, because I consider the Post a New York Version of the National Enquirer....just give me the final re$ult of this, this is like a big poker game, poker faces and bluffs all over the place...still way too early to tell.

Well they certianaely have a shot, Im glad they were able to muster a 1-1 tie tonight against Luongo, but they have TB at at the Islanders Sat...so for all the good things that have happened up to this point...if they stumble, especially at Uniondale this weekend, they may be 6 pts back again....so I have cautious optimism
