  4. Very good first pass, very good transition game. I would say he is good defensively in the move. Very good shot. Accurate, hard and low. Good for rebounds. Good skating, good speed. Should be faster on the short distances. Could have problems against fast gritty players who is good with the puck. Should use frame better. WIth better physics he will be much better in this aspects. He was criticised for his game with the puck under pressure, but now he is fast, smart and creative with the puck under pressure. I can`t say he is good QB. At least on the blue line. He is ok, but isn`t fast with movements, again because he isn`t fast on the short distances. But can shot on the blue line, can join the rush and make good pass. But definitely not blue line playmaker. But who can do it? Even Luke isn`t elite pure playmaking defenseman. First pass of Shakir is really-really good. Guy make very accurate movements with the puck. Mechanics could be better, but are ok for his size. He developed a lot of parts of his game. I listen him a lot, he is smart. And development is a good sign.

  8. Zakhar Bardakov #10 blue jersey, SKA vs Barys, 03 sept 2022 All actions, good and bad. https://youtu.be/B0N158GGWLc
  9. He has one year on actual deal. May be Avangard will offer big money for him, than he will play another two years I believe. Its not so sexy for devils fans, but it will help him to develop more, and Devils will got legit top 6 player for free when they will be ready for real competitions. May be he wants to travel no matter what. Everything I read about it, he is in interest to take next step after thus season. Like Shakir too. Both look good for now. Today I will make Bardakov video and another one video, I didn't decide yet.
  10. Game against Traktor today - part 1 - part 2 Good defensive game. Very patient. And... I don`t like transitional game and how he works with the puck. For now it is very limited potential. There is a border between him and Okhotiuk for now. Okhotiuk has good start and help with transition, can join the rush because of speed, is good enough with the puck in defensive zone. Misul is very good positionally, but isn`t as attractive on the boards(no one is as attractive on the boards as Okhotiuk), useless with the puck. I understand it is only beggining of the season, but guy didn`t develope what he should develope. I think he will sign another two year deal(and it would be better for him, may be if he will lose the spot, than we can talk again). But for now he isn`t NHL ready and doesnt look like he has real upside. I understand that after this, Misyul`s stocks will fall, although they were not high anyway. But even with a good defensive game, in the NHL it is very important to be useful with the puck on the stick. Shakir was heavily scolded for this, and now we see that Shakir has significantly improved this aspect of the game. I will return to Daniil after some time. Next one is Zakhar Bardakov.
  11. Shakir Mukhamadullin #85 white jersey vs SKA. 03 sept 2022 all actions. good and bad. +Bardakov/Khmelevsky fight https://youtu.be/FvGSD3m5qrM I will not make special video for Bardakov, but he was very fun and agressive.
  12. Arseniy Gritsyuk #81, white jersey All actions, good and bad. https://youtu.be/R5um2mxXKf4 part 1 https://youtu.be/gI9pXGwBnAI part 2
  13. Team is full of talented players. But some very talented are not in NHL still. https://twitter.com/HockeyNewsHub/status/1566042124021370880 1st game, 1st goal.
  14. Good point Bad point in previous posts. Even if Bratt will leave, situation is different. Its interesting, because Wood could not be ready for starting the season. Foote is a guy with good positional game and good offensive IQ, but his skating and speed limit him. And Thompson with Zetterlund were more proactive and successful in their time in AHL. Devils don't have many spots in regular roster, fight for the spot should help this year. Prospects looks much more NHL ready.
  15. Meh. He don't. They have good core and some good prospects. Their previous season was hard because covid, new arena and no one said that east is an easy road. They were the closest and had a good second half. Of course big part is goaltending but nyr goaltending is big part, even Tampa Bay goaltending is a big part. Boston and Carolina goaltending were not a big part because of great defense, and Washington, Florida and Toronto goaltending were not because great offense. But even Carolina, Boston, wsh Florida have average goalies. Or above. Lou traded two very late first and drafted Raty in the late second. He traded early first for Romanov and drafted Odelius. Having young Romanov, Raty and Odelius from three draft, where you should draft in the end of the first round twice, is great. They have great defensemen, they have vezina caliber goalie, they have good offensive core, and they have Wahlstrom and Raty. Ofcourse Lou should think about trade some offensive guys here and there, but he definitely should not making rebuild. His offensive core can work, may be he could make offensive retooling. But as I understand he is there for winning and for compete. And this team is doing that. Even in a bad season, they have enough points to call it "unluck" , not disaster. I believe Islanders will go down in future, because goalies can't be consistent in modern hockey, and their offensive core isn't young, but I can't say it will happen tommorow. And even two ECF is a good result for them.
  16. He is trying to rate every system. And rank players outside NHL. He can’t make deep dives. Reason why he is low on Gritsyuk, high on Foote and low on Okhotiuk. Where he has Walsh? If in top 10 he doesn’t understand our pool. Anyway he is one of good guys because he is watching a lot. And he is much closer to understanding how nhl hockey works than some miracle guys like “students” from eliteprospects or scouching. I like to listen and watchin them, but guys are far away from understanding how gms and nhl hockey works. They will push 100 skills small guys, two wil hit their ceiling and they will tell they were right all over the time. Pronman or Steve Kournianos (I don’t agree with him in a lot of things, but guy has good vision, watching a lot of games and understand the game well) are much closer in understanding modern hockey. If they talking, we should listen. They can give a lot of info. For example Wheeler is useless. Bader is fun and stupid. Button is a different story. I don’t know who makes a scouting job for him. But his rankings always interesting, but he doesn't tell a lot of interesting things, although the ratings themselves seem to indicate that he has something to tell.
  17. If he can and the only problem were goaltending and pp, than ok, hooray, take the talent team and bring us SC, if the problem were bad cycling and lack of rebound and tempo structure, than it could be fixed only by changing complete way of structure of training. By new HC.
  18. Finland were better in tactical stuff, good effort and good forecheck. But their level of personal training is questionable. A lot of missed passes and shots. McTavish is a great player, Anaheim were smart to draft him. I'm worry for our kids, rangers Canadian guys aren't gentlemen. Finland deserved to be named second hockey country in the last years.
  19. We cant penciled out Islenders, but Lou lost his guy. And they dont have any more real reserve. May be Attu Ratty. But I don`t think he is NHL ready. They still have Sorokin, they were bite by covid in the first half of the season, bad scheduele, but still. They aren`t stronger than they were. Jackets are better on paper, but they lost some good piece, their defense isn`t really good. As goaltending. But they have good players who can play better. But they have a lot of young players. And it is synonim of inconstancy. I`m not saying Devils will absolutely better than Flyers, Jackets and Islanders, but they have opportunity and material. Vanecek and Blackwood as pair aren`t worser than Vanecek and Samsonov. With healthy Jack, better PP(hope Brunette will find some keys) and even average goaltending this team will compete. As I remember when Nico, Jack and Dougie were in the team at the same time and goalies perform on the average league level, Devils were 7-1-2. Health and goaltending are significant parts of the next season.
  20. How? Brylin? He was helped players to develop. He and Minsk guys help Sharangovich a lot. Devils organisation have 7 russian players in KHL\MHL\VHL. And Okhotiuk in AHL. + Yegor. And only Zaitsev is look like he will not travel to NA. Even Maltsev wasnt look lost in his NHL time here. In general, he is a very well-mannered and intelligent person who played good positional hockey, and he has everything to share this experience. Brylin is a typical person I like very much. Have a little chat with him. But even more than with Gritsyuk and Barabosha. Very happy for him. He was my number three candidate for stuff this year after Brunette and Warsofsky. I like McGill too. Fitz made a good job.
  21. He is old, but if some team think they should win it now, may be they will interest in him. I like his vision. It doesn't work as a long term plan in modern nhl, but as a short term - he has good understanding how to retool the team. I would say even his Jagr retooling was... some kind of "good". Team was buried by Conte, there were some unluck, and overall team was in deep hole to making retool. But I think that was a plan and he was trying to solve the problem he was asked to solve. That was a bad plan. I don't think we should give him any job, may be some paper work. Meh. Don't put this old man in the squad. He will influence. And I don't think his influence is what is good for this organization now.
  22. Thanks for your service, man. "We" were blocked for sending money. When the world will change, I will invite the bright side of the force.
  23. Watched game after. Luke is fine. Little better than just "brother" pick. I'm starting to be positively inpatient.
