Zakhar Bardakov did score in his second VHL(russian AHL analog) game. 2 games 1g 1a after that SKA give him an opportunity in KHL and he scores and made 2 assists. TOI 14:07, 3 hit.

Nico is the best player game after game, play very mature solid game. Thanks god we got him in draft day. Obvious choice. Hope he will recover from his injuries more and his speed will back. Mercer is great. Awesome to see his maturing day after day. And Johnsson really help him. The best new season story. I really like his game and how he manage his body, choise position and work in forecheck. Holtz is not NHL ready but he work pretty well in offensive zone, and I hope, he will work on his cons, when Devils will send him to the minors. Now he can take more feedback from the game for his game. I like how PK plain, especially defensive game, I don`t like his offensive game, but this is it what Ruff was askin when Hamilton was not on the ice. PK was one of the hardest in defensive zone, if not the best, great to see his game actually asking on critique he did take. I think Siegenthaler is not the perfect, but solid enough to play his role. When he and PK didn`t try to do more than they can eat - they are very good. And this game actually shows how that can work with players like Bratt, Mercer and Mcleod who can create breakaway from nothing. Mcleod is awesome as 4th line center. And Thompson doesnt look lost, he has some NHL potential, it`s interesting what he can develope in his game to translate his pros on NHL level. He looks much more stronger in AHL and NHL this year than he was year ago. Castron`s work is bearing fruit. And Thanks God, we have NHL level tandem. It really helps.

Foote is a great player. But his speed hurt his game much. I dont know can he fix it somehow or adapt his game. It`s understandable why he is late 1st round pick and not top-10. Grier is a life example for Foote. Grier is a good AHL player but he svck on NHL level because of speed. Shmid play awesome and save the day several times. Great performance from him. DeLeo deserved call up. But waiver still exist.
