According to TSN.ca: McKay has broken foot tsn.ca Staff 10/9/2002 Montreal Canadiens' forward Randy McKay has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left foot. He is expected to be out for about two weeks. McKay, who signed as a free agent from the Dallas Stars, had an MRI yesterday. His foot has bothered him since he was hit by a shot early in training camp. The Canadiens' other prize off-season acquisition, Mariusz Czerkawski, did not practice Wednesday. He pulled a hamstring in practice Tuesday and will try to skate Thursday. McKay and Czerkawski were expected to be on the team's top line with captain Saku Koivu. Instead, Montreal has juggled it's line-up, putting Koivu with Andreas Dackell and Chad Kilger. Doug Gilmour will centre Richard Zednik and Oleg Petrov, while the third line features Yanic Perreault with Joe Juneau and Donald Audette. Bill Lindsay and Jan Bulis are slated for the fourth line. Well I can certainly see another thread that I'm just gonna skip over now...it's begining to get out of hand, much like last night's Game Thread...it's been said in that thread by a few posters, and it's been said in here again - take it to PM. No one wants to see some of this. When the season starts, hopefully the bickering will calm down, but just lay off on each other - talk about the team instead of insulting each other. Nieds fan is right - this is out of hand, and it's unneccessary.

I highly doubt the Sabres would expect Brodeur for Satan. Gratton is not a first line center. He would be nice...but not for the first line. Give Nieuwy a chance - he's a great player, and he's capable of wonders on this team.

Nieuwy is a 1st liner again for a reason. He can get the job done on this team. There's definite chemistry. Langenbrunner is there for the same reason. Edit--I will not be thrown into this again. Have it your way KD..

Lou Lamoriello is one of the best GM's in SPORTS, let alone hockey. To think the f'n GM on the KINGS is better than Lamoriello...jeez...you must really be living under a rock (well either that or your lips are firmly secured to the asses of each and ever Kings player). I'd love to see your "reasoning" as to why the Kings are, and have been better than the Devils. I mean, it's not like Gretzky is still there or anything..but just because you guys had him, that means you are above anyone else? Yeah, let's just forget that Lamoriello was the mastermind behind 2 Cups, 3 Finals trips in 7 years.

I really don't think the Pens will be above the Flyers...and even the Rangers at that.

KD hasn't said a single thing tonight to prove that he is a Devils fan. He's disrespected the Devils, and he's disrespected many, if not ALL of the posters here tonight. ..but the sad thing is, he proved it all on his own, without any help from us this time.
