SterioDesign
Just heard this on tv, i hate the habs with burning passion but this is pretty cool Louis Leblanc was called up for his first NHL game last night against the Ducks. When the team got there Cole asked him when his parents we're landing in Anaheim, Louis told him they we're not coming unfortunately. So Cole told him that they had to be there, gave him his credit card and told him to get on the phone and to get it done. So they finally made it and saw their son's first NHL game. Really nice from Cole especially for a new guy on the team. Does anyone heard stories like this with our boys ?
Quinn01
Wow that is pretty damn awesome. Super respectable. I guess its not a big thing when the cost of the tickets dont mean much compared to what your salary is but still he didnt have to do that for a young kid on the team. Hats off. Bibby89
Cole seems like a class act, thats awesome. And you can tell he was definitely the heart (atleast a big part) of that Hurricanes team too, look where they are without him.

MadDog2020
I had the pleasure of getting the chance to play in Erik Cole's charity golf tournmaent a few years ago, and after meeting him, I can honestly say he is one of the nicest dudes you will ever meet. I'm not surprised he did this for the kid. Cole is a top-notch guy.
mouse
Glad he's not a Cane anymore. I hate those guys, but he seems like the man.
devils26
I don't really know why but I've always kinda liked Cole. Maybe it was the way he battled through that neck injury, but even playing for the Canes or Habs hasn't made me dislike him.
hurricane1091
Didn't I read somewhere that Kovalchuk lets the kids borrow his car and stay with him? Or was this someone else?
jnuh
I know Moose always drives Tedenby home after games or atleast I assume that because they are always leaving together in Moose's car.
