twistedwrister
yea that was an amazing catch, broke his nose and fractured a few bones in his face. In an ironic side note, he asked for padding to be put on the fences a few weeks ago, the phillies agreed, and the pad was set to be put on in the next two weeks... Derek21
That was one of the best catches you'll see. He was running full speed with his back turned and made the play and crashed into that bar. Geez. The fact he held on was pretty amazing. It was a gamesaver considering that the game was rain shortened and Phillies won 2-0. Anyway, I like Rowand. He's hardnosed. Too bad he wound up on the DL. Still a great play.
RowdyFan42
Anyway, I like Rowand. He's hardnosed. Pun intended?
insanity_gallops
Anyone catch Ray Ferraro's rip on Rowand and Wade yesterday? He was talking about how tough Ryan Smyth was, and how he wasn't just placed on the DL or laying on the ground as the game continued. Yikes, talk about jabbin' other players!
