"As a captain, it's perceived that you are supposed to do certain things. People put that on themselves. I got caught in that a little bit early on, but right now I do what I do." At this point, Langenbrunner's focus is on contributing more offensively. He has gone five straight games without a goal or an assist and hopes to end that drought tomorrow night when the Florida Panthers visit the Prudential Center for the Devils' first game of the new year.
