SatansDevils
Friday, Feb 6, 2009. There are 4-games on tap tonight. Montreal at Buffalo - RDS, TSN - 7:30 PM Columbus at Pittsburgh - FOX PITT - 7:30 PM Nashville at Minnesota - FXNO - 8:00 PM NY Rangers at Dallas - MSG, FOX SW - 8:30 PM There are 2-games being played tonight with the EC vs. WC match ups with Columbus @ Pittsburgh and the NYR @ Dallas. There were 2-games being played last night with the EC vs. the WC match ups with Los Angeles wins over Washington and Carolina wins over San Jose. EC vs. WC tracker. WC leads the EC 100-80 so far this season. There is one game in the EC and one game in the WC match ups tonight. Montreal is at Buffalo where Buffalo won a big game over Toronto on Wednesday night shutting them out 5-0. Buffalo looks to keep the winning streak alive and win on home ice. Montreal won a big game over Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, look to keep their winning streak going as well. A good old division rival game in the EC tonight. Should be a good game. Columbus is at Pittsburgh where Pittsburgh was down 3-0 to Tampa Bay going into the 3rd period and they scored 3-goals to tie the game and Evgeni Malkin scored the GWG in OT to make the comeback complete for the win on Wednesday night. They look to feed off that game into this one for a second win in a row. Columbus lost a bad game to St. Louis on Tuesday night as their top rookie goalie Steve Mason is out with the mono illness. Columbus has played very well vs. the EC teams this season being one of the best and hopefully they can pull out another win tonight over an EC team. This will be another good game tonight. Nashville is at Minnesota where Minnesota is coming off a big win on Wednesday night as Backstrom shutout Anaheim 3-0, looks to continue his and the teams streak tonight with another win. Nashville won a tough game last night over Anaheim, look for another win in as many nights. The NYR are at Dallas tonight where these teams are going in different directions. Dallas has won their last 5 out of their last 6-games where their 5-game winning streak came to an end last night in Colorado, look to win their 6th in 7-games tonight on home ice vs. a struggling NYR team that cannot score goals. The NYR have lost their last 3-games (0-2-1) including a SO loss to Atlanta on Tuesday night on Adam Graves night. Hopefully the NYR will lose their 4th game in a row tonight. CMON DALLAS! Some really good games and match ups tonight in the NHL for only having four games on tap. Lets Go Buffalo, Columbus, Minnesota and Dallas! -SD
