firecenter
i spoke with my buddy who is a police officer in Newark, and he has been told to work the festival in front of the Rock late next week. So my guess is the fanfest is on.
swampdevil
I always hated white being the home jersey. It's so fvcking boring and you have to see all the other teams wear their team colors. +1 !!
koolkoreankid23
I always thought the dark jerseys were the cooler looking jerseys.
American_Psycho
As long as nobody's "rockin" blue, we're fine.
gionta182
TG mentions in the comments of one of his posts that the Devils are doing the Rock Your Red campaign this year as well, but it sounds like they're not going to make a big deal out of it since they know people aren't going to buy the tickets and wear red anyway. It'll just be some extra T-shirt sales for them. http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2009/04...1156f254859970c
firecenter
they really shouldnt bother with a "color campaign". even if you half-promote it, your simply setting yourselves up for failure. as long as they keep with tradition and do the towels, i really couldnt care less. ILikeItVeryMuch
I think we should worry about getting as many butts in seats for Game 1 since its the midweek first round playoff game of death. I have always been a white jersey guy but more and more I find myself seeing Red as our true home jersey.
firecenter
as per a fellow on HF, towels will be handed out. no word on the color of said towels

If they want the whole place to wear red, give out FREE red t-shirts... don't sell them in the Devils Den for $20.00 a pop, because no one's gonna buy them. The reason why you see Washington and Philly decked out in all red and orage is because they GIVE the t-shirts to the fans. Another thing the Devils marketing team needs to get thier heads out their asses on.
SatansDevils
as per a fellow on HF, towels will be handed out. no word on the color of said towels They better be RED! They want the Devils fans to "Rock Your Red" then they better give out red towels too. It would make no sense if they are white.
