Elias Sports Bureau
So much for the old adage that if you work hard and go to the net you'll be rewarded... It's tough to see Little G just not get anything -- almost as bad as seeing him absorb 80,000 hits a game -- esp. since he was the only one with any kind of anything last year. It would be really sweet to see him get one tomorrow (for MANY reasons).
westcoastdevfan
I have said this many times. Lil G needs a goal. He gets smashed so many times a game. It's time to be rewarded for all the hard work and punishment he has been taking. I do like the fact that he never looks in pain and almost always gets a good lick on the guy that hit him. I'll chip in a whole dollar.
SBT
The SBT would settle for Gionta making it through the series in one piece.
CHICO IS GOD
I'll chip in a whole dollar. I'll double that!
Elias Sports Bureau
This could work!!! OK, I have a fiver... Let's make it real. Gionta scores and I will collect the money and we'll come up with a charity and send it there in Little G's name!!!!!!!!!! What da ya say forumers??? Zamode
I think his paycheck could buy him a goal of his own
Elias Sports Bureau
That's a lot of faith from fellow forumers, Chico. I'd do anything to get the kid a goal and you better believe this money will go where I say it goes -- even if it's only my $5.
CHICO IS GOD
And buy me a few too, lol
Elias Sports Bureau
I think his paycheck could buy him a goal of his own Since that doesn't seem to be working... and doesn't have the charitable angle to it either, I SERIOUSLY bring this up. My deepest apologies, I should trust my fellow board members and Devils fans. I am sending the money as we speak (where do I send it? lol)
Elias Sports Bureau
Here's a great cause. The American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout. That's probably a good thing, since I was out at 2AM walking for cigarettes trying to clear my head... AND cause smoking stunts growth!!! (Not that that is Gionta's situation, just that it seems appropriate.)
CRASHER
What the heck.. for the cost of a playoff cappuccino, I can buy a goal ?? As long as it doesn't go to Sally Struthers !!

Late long dog walks really help clear your mind, lol. But seriously, plus if you're really pissed you can let the dog go on the neighbor that never shutups (Not that I've ever done that, lol)
Zamode
Would be great to see him get one. I'm always yelling when he's speeding down the ice (in a good way).
Elias Sports Bureau
Don't have a dog... used to. Miss him. But can't get another with my 10 or 11-hour workdays. Unfair to the dog. He's more like a weeble than an egg. He gets knocked down but bounces right back up. I really am juiced about this idea. I'm gonna scream my bloody head off when he scores! Elias Sports Bureau
A weeble is a toy. Like Zam said, it's tag line was "weebles wobble but they don't fall down." There are dolls that are shaped like weebles, maybe you've seen them. You push them over and they bounce back up and to the side and back and forth...
