Elias Sports Bureau
That's cool, Shane likes red.
NJD4LIFE
I was expecting alot from Elias coming into this season. I was not happy with the way he played last season but he seems more focused and is playing with the passion I've been hoping for. Hopefully he can keep this up throughout the playoffs cause we're going to need him. Probably more so than ever.
Pepperkorn
ESB your nephew is sooooo cute! I can't even deal! And Patty has been really great this year. I'm glad ESB is here to read the good stuff!
Elias Sports Bureau
Aw, thanks PK. I was just over eating his cheeks a couple hours ago... He did something totally cool. He had the hockey stick (i guess it's foam on the inside) and after he finished gnawing on it, he went through a pile of toys to pick out a ball... then put it down in front of the stick and took a swing. OK, that just kills! Can't wait to take him to the game, but I already know he's gonna be a handful cause he likes to move around A LOT. Good thing we have nine other people to keep up. And it's GREAT to see Elias in a form to which people were accustomed to seeing him in...
LizDevil30
Is it just me or does anyone else hear go nuts when the Isles guy, I forget which one, pronounces Elias, ELIASH! I hate that! I yell at the tv, it's Eliosh! But if you are the ESB, it's Elyas? Maybe one day I'll get to ask him.
StarDew
What's this? A positive thread?
Pepperkorn
ESB Rebecca made her NHL Kermit skate the other day... but then she got obsessed with the skates and kind of wanted to pull the blades off. I have to get her to another game. We almost ran over John Maclean at the last one she went to -- I think he though I was insane I bowed thanks for letting us go in front of him and he looked at me like I was paying homage or something... I didn't even know it was him though until later -- then i felt bad i didn't say anything nice... but I guess he thought i was bowing soo Wow imagine when the day comes Scott Stevens can wander around like a normal guy... OMG! I wish I could watch a game with him... sigh.... I wish he could narrate a game for me! although the way he said he has to listen to the radio to stay calm....maybe he'd be as bad as me even... I doubt it. because I get twice as frantic listening... well it's just sometimes I think what does he MEAN!!! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!!!! When they do the play by play and it sounds stupid or makes no logical sense... Like the Marshall thing the other night I'd have gone a little nuts then I think. Hell I'd cave if I were Stevens I'd just take a little peak at the the TV.. i have no discipline. I SUCK!
Elias Sports Bureau
Well that's progress, PK!!!! Sounds like a blast. Well it's better for Johnny Mac then when we stood outside and all the kids called him Dano. I hate that too, devsRgreat!!!! One of my friends up there had a customized shirt made for me with his pic and had put on there "it's pronounced eeeelee-osh". And I'm like, no it ain't! But it's a cool shirt still. Those darn Canadians...
Elias Sports Bureau
Damn, this trade means we're done discussing Elias!!! We didn't get to his suits yet! I'm still wondering about what he wore to Fan Club dinner since someone referenced his suit or tie.
Matteau#32
he's my favorite devil and i agree that he's been playing very well. Elias is the only non-North American I drafted in my fantasy league for money, and I am in first place by a wide margin. So long as he keeps it up, I will be happy with Elias and everyone else on my squad. (I snagged Nash in the 29th round and Pitkanen in the 31st). djstubbs
Stubbs, were you angry after game 7 in Ottawa last year? Oh, yes, very angry...
pattyelias
Wow....Nash and Pitkanen as late round picks is pretty awesome.
pattyelias
Stubbs, I actually don't mind game 7's on the road. I usually can't deal with all the pressure of sitting in such an important game. My stomach was in knots all day until Rupp made it 1-0, as I'm sure thousands of people's stomachs were as well.
