He'll do great in Washington." These are all pretty neutral and fans wouldn't really be able to look into them. Whatever, he was still under contract to the Devils when he said it and I'm sure that's the mindset he had. I'm not going to fault him for fans obsessing and over-analyzing every word he says. I'm not sure what the Wild could have offered him that would compare to a team that just made the Stanley Cup Finals? Except a truck load of money. If that's why he left then so be it.
