It's amazing to see all the stress because Santini is out. Who'd of thought after his indifferent performances last season? But, along with Green, has been our most consistent player in the defensive zone imo. Hope the team is determined, sticks to their strengths and stays out of the bloody penalty box! LGD!

I can't remember a season when our defence put so many pucks into the crease from behind the net. We're still in it though but our Jekyll and Hyde team makes it impossible to guess which way it's going to go.

Let's hope the players are p1ssed off at losing last night and are determined to prove a point. But Lovejoy? Dear god, no. LGD!

Palms first:Check

What a pass by Palms. Great finish (at last!) by Hall.

I think Hynes needs to swap either Zacha or Palms onto the 2nd line. He needs to shake things up a bit.

Prout in for Mueller tonight. No doubt he'll be keeping tabs on Wilson. Have to say I thought Prout looked like a different player in pre-season so it'll be interesting to see what he brings.

Amazing team performance. 1. Schneider is back to his best. 2. Hats off to the defence. Yep, too many shots given up but they battled for sixty minutes. 3. Bratt still amazes me. 4. I'm a big fan of Coleman. Deserved his goal for all the graft he puts in. 5. Been impressed with Zacha this season. Had a couple of bad shifts in the third but his re-direct was pretty damn good. 6. 3-0 is an amazing start to the season. 16 goals in 3 games is pretty damn sexy to.

I think he looks a little lost out there. He's not getting any time on the puck and nothing he's trying seems to be coming off. It will though. Only takes a few seconds to conjour some brilliance.

I'm glad Zacha got the goal. I think he's played really well in an unfussy, Zajac kinda way through the three games.

Bratt is f@#kin' golden.

That was a pretty fast paced period. Bratt really does have some skills. Looked the best of the forwards although I really love Colemans non-stop attitude. Butcher saved Seversons ass and I'm liking him more and more. Whereas Moore I'm liking less and less. Him on the PK? Scary.

I think this is going to be a much tougher game than the previous two. The D are going to have to perform quite a bit better in their own zone. Having said that if they come out with the same attitude, speed and desire they have been then they're bound to create a bunch of chances. Can't wait. Should be a great game. LGD!

Watching them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory always gives me a warm glow of satisfaction.

That was definitely the impression I got of it. As far as Shero is concerned, from what I can see, he's moving the team forward in a positive fashion. He's not sitting on his hands waiting for things to happen he's out there being proactive. Most of his moves seem to have had a positive effect and those that haven't he seems willing to correct. So, he gets a massive thumbs up from me.

Two games played, two wins, 10 goals for and 3 against make for good reading. 1. Bratt has an amazing touch around the net. Took his goals really well. 2. Love the commitment of Gibbons, Noeson and Coleman. 3. Schneider looked really solid again today. Anyone else think that he's been working on his puck handling? He even made an up-ice pass late in the third. 4. Lovejoy. Um, oh dear. 5. Huge team performance especially considering the players the team is without.

Pre-season just hasn't ended has it? What a fantastic response by the team after conceding. I'm loving this.

My observations: 1. If that's the brand of hockey we're going to be watching this season I'm going to be very happy. 2. How Nico came away from that game without a point is beyond me. Made some great moves. Quick hands. 3. Hall looks a different player to last season. 4. Schneider looks a different player to last season. 5. Bratt looked great. Took his goal brilliantly. 6. The short handed goal was a thing of beauty. 7. How the hell didn't Severson score?
