Yep I thought this team had potential this year after the first few games. This game will be the defining point of their season. I read the “dreaded 3 goal lead” to my son last night from Stan Fischer’s book. Islanders were up 3-0 after the first, they’re now down 5-3 after two and switched the camera to Schneider sitting comfortably on the bench. Must’ve been thinking “5 in one period? Stop insulting me, that’s my job and I may get to prove it in the 3rd”. I’m def gonna have to watch some of that period if he’s in net.

You are actually right. I should have worded that more carefully. Should have specified I do not want the Flyers to succeed in any capacity but just good to see him healthy. That really should have been the extent of it. That was crossing the line and I promise not to make that mistake again. Can I send a care package to make up for the mistake? Would rather send a Stanley Cup replica with all the names of the 2021 Devils roster but that’s more than a bit of a stretch.

From a Devils fan standpoint, is it wrong for me to say it’s good to see Nolan Patrick playing and got a goal? Glad to see he’s healthy and hope he has a good year. Am I alone in that sentiment? I do hope Nico has a much better year than him of course.
