devilsadvoc8 Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 While I think that the players demands are the most unreasonable, I think that the owners have responsibility for where we are now in terms of players salaries over time. (cough cough, Rangers & Flyers). I have always thought that it would get worked out. As of today I have finally turned the corner to pessimism. This really sucks. Blame is nice but it accomplishes nothing. You want blame - it's a LOCKOUT. It's the owners fault. But I don't find the owners unreasonable. I find the players at best inarticulate at worst: unreasonable, unrealistic, and self important. The owners are articulating a position I can understand and relate to. The players are all over the map - they have no single unified message for me to buy into. The owners are all saying they must have cost certainty. That works for me.
