Shorthander
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?p...layerpoll060117 I can't imagine that no one voted for Marty. Sorry if this has been discussed already. I didn't see it posted.
dmitri
Well, the question is: "Who's the best goalie in the NHL this season?" Definitely not Marty; not this season.
bruins4777
some interesting votes...marty's himself was the most odd...i liked how all the finnish goalies voted kipprusoft
Weekes Head
Why did Marty vote for Eddie this year? Was he just tipping his cap to him or what? Ed definitely hasn't been exactly a superstar this year. I'm also a bit baffled at some of the Manny Fernandez votes. Weird. CuJo and Belfour declined to answer
Devilsdude530
Doesn't anyone else realize this is the same thing you can read in the hockey news?
devilsrule33
Brodeur only sees the goalies in the games he plays and Eddie did have a couple good games against us especially the one in Toronto. Weekes Head
Doesn't anyone else realize this is the same thing you can read in the hockey news? Well, seeing as the bottom of the article says "Material from The Hockey News. To subscribe, visit The Hockey News' Web site at: http://www.thehockeynews.com," I'd like to think yes. KarlovyVary
Ha, it's great how Aebischer and Budaj both asked to remain anonymous, but they both chose Hasek.
LizDevil30
"Dominik Hasek." -- Scott Clemmensen No wonder he's not seeing much playing time.

CuJo and Belfour declined to answer It is kind of ironic that they didn't answer since they were linked together. Cujo the former Leaf goalie and Eddie who replaced him. On Fernandez, he's having a really good year. Just plays in obscurity. I'd probably say either Hasek or Kiprusoff because they mean a ton to their respective teams. Lundqvist comes in third. Weekes Head
Yeah, Manny's had a good year, but I don't think he's been the best goalie this season. Top 10, sure, not #1 though.
bruins4777
fernandez like every wild goalie for the past 3 seasons and even kipprusoft has had an overrated season.
