metalfro44
A few comments from someone at the game. The first line of gio-elias-zub was great tonight. They were clicking and had 3 or 4 good chances. The 3rd line, however, Clarkson-Madden-Brylin, were not so good. Every time they were caught in their zone, they could not get it out. And Oduya is, well Oduya. Good win overall.

devils26
While the 3rd line had trouble getting it out of the D zone, when they were able to finally get the puck out, they created some great chances. Clarkson looked pretty good today and really helped lead such a hard forecheck, especially for the third line.
Don
I can't wait until we get our big scoring threat back in the line-up. We need the offence.
LOULAM1
I have to disagree. The Clarkson-Madden-Brylin line generated the best offense tonight, I thought.

dmitri
Why does everybody on this part of the board have to disagree with opinions from others that watched the same game? Dmitri, my ? to you is then how and why did the C-M-B line differentiate themselves from the other lines? At least post something that has some validity before you outright disagree with the other person before posting nada! Before you call out another member of the board for their opinion, please come to the table with something and be polite before you just "disagree" and just post to post! LOULAM1
Reply to 1: they differentiated themselves by generating the best offense. If you don't know what that means, grab a dictionary.Reply to 2: I do not consider stating an opinion (which is clearly marked as such by phrase "I thought") as being impolite. LOULAM1
They had the puck for longer periods of time in the offensive zone than did the other lines. This was a result of a pretty damned good cycling. They also hung out around the crease a lot. In the end, it was this line (with a couple of finishing touches put on by the "D") that evened up the game.As for your attitude, I think that maybe you should get some sleep. Or get laid. Or both. In any case, Merry Christmas. Edited December 29, 2007 by DevilMinder ...

Devilsdude530
We could call Clarkson-Madden-Brylin the Monty Burns Line. Just a thought...
Don
I thought I detected sarcasm Although, you must admit, without Pando's scoring early on in the season, we would have a couple less wins now.
