mrchev
Just found your site and think it is GREAT. I've been flirting with the Devils this season, keeping an eye on them but not jumping in to call myself a fan, but the time may be here. As a former Bruins follower (gave up on them in the early 90's) I've felt a need to find another team to regenerate interest in the NHL. The Eastern Conference playoffs should be a wild ride this year, it should be fun to see how the Devils do.

I can even wear my NU hockey jersey to a devils game and fit right it Speaking of NU, I lost track of NU alum Dan McGillis and see he is now in Albany. What happened? He was a solid guy for the B's before the lockout and now he is out of the NHL?

McGillis with his poor play was told report to Albany or get cut. This way everyone gets something. McGillis gets big league pay while playing at a minor league level. The Devils get cap room. The Rats get a veterem D man (Not sure how he's doing down there though. I don't think he's making much of a difference. )

Pepperkorn
I think there just wasn't time to give him much of a pass - especially when he was eating up a chunk of cap space as Elias was coming back. Welcome to the boards.
