    Rick Nash To NYR

Perfectly said in my opinion. Dubi - junk Anisimov -- average Erixon - who knows Pick --- who knows Bottom line it is surprising to believe that this was the best offer the Blue Jackets got. I understand BJackets wouldn't send him to Detroit.. but outside of their own division... they got no better offer then the strangers junk????

    Plan B: Now What?

We didn't lose Zach Parise HE left US
  3. - --- insert - "let's give em something to talk about"
  4. I predict this interview is nothing more than an interview that sits on youtube and viewed here and there. It's not going to blow up the media. Just my opinion. fart
  5. Troy is right, Barch is a Devil now!
  6. Curious what opinions are... let's say hypothetically that Semin were an RFA this off-season and went to arbitration. What do you think the arbitrator's decision would be on what Semin's upcoming contract should be??
  7. Definitely think NJ should be interested enough to check the price tag. With the drop off to 54 pts two seasons in a row, he really shouldn't command 6million per season but I know it's not the real world in the NHL.. I assume he has had to have had some offers since July 1 - which means perhaps no one is offering that 6 mill or at least no where he is interested in going. If I were NJ GM and Semin was interested in NJ ... I'd start with 5 yr $25 mill offer, with incentives to increase his wallet
  8. I don't see Semin getting 7 mill per season - I just don't see it. I do understand that teams will overpay though He just put up back to back seasons with 54 points. Will be interesting to see what he winds up signing for and where.. If Devils go for him I doubt its longer than a 4 yr deal
  9. CAPTAIN ZACH PARISE NEW JERSEY DEVILS JUST STAY, JUST ANNOUNCE THAT YOU'RE STAYING IN NEW JERSEY :koolaid: :koolaid: :koolaid: :koolaid: :koolaid:
  10. It is Ridiculous to drop NJ pursuit of it's Captain... But at same time it does irk me that he is having such a tough time deciding - Devils traded up in draft to get him, Devils have surrounded him with good players, Made him the captain, just went to the freaking Cup a month ago. The team is good, he said the Devils offer is a very competitive offer, - Be loyal, this is your team, the team you wear the C on - Staying in NEW JERSEY should be easier decision. Just my thoughts
  11. yeah suddenly Chere is popping out Hedberg news left and right Z P news please?
  12. EJ Hradek: For nervous Devils fans, I believe there's still a good chance that Parise stays in NJ. Stay tuned .

    THIS SUCKS

    The Waiting sucks
  14. I think Marty knows he's going through Sunday.. and then he doesn't want to rep himself with teams calling him directly. So he hires agent to field those offers. This of course helps him realize his value for a contract... hopefully from NJ! But even if he signs with NJ I guess this agent now gets his %. Good deal for agent.. Hey Lou always says it - "When time is on your side you use it" --- No Marty is using it. Learned it from watching you, Uncle Lou
  15. A Lou quote we hear over and over - "when time is on your side, you use it" I hope he is using it perfectly in the here and now i'm just a little nervous but i truly do "Trust In Lou"
  16. I don't know if this was mentioned earlier.. but nonetheless baffles me a bit, if my recollection is even correct. May be you guys recall. Last off-season when Zach was a RFA and the deadline was a approaching tick tick tick - NJD & ZP agree on 1 year deal because (if i recall correctly) time was running out and 1yr deal made sense for now. Fast Forward, a whole year almost gone by... NJD & ZP begin talking 5 days before deadline ??????? Thoughts?
  17. I don't think Agents would allow their client to speak directly with LOU. Lou has too much influence.
