I'd rather see Nashville fold, at least Edmonton has some history & tradition. Nashville is on of Bettmans dixie land expansion teams, they shouldn't even exist.

yea, that could very well be the case, or maybe it's just a precautionary measure since it is a long road trip and Osgood may still be a little banged up. You can't feel comfortable going into the playoffs with Garth Snow as your #1. I'd keep Osgood and trade Snow, his stock has risen significantly in the past few weeks. you never know what mad mike is up to.

I don't know what to think about the Rangers & the playoffs, I've changed my tune a lot so you can call me out on it. when it looked bleak I called on the Devils to finish off the Rags for good, but they continue to gain ground In a way, I want them(and NYI) to make it just because it would be great for Metro area hockey. I DON'T want them to make it because they scare me to death if we play them in the playoffs. I do want to play them in the playoffs just so we can finally beat them there, another Rags/Devs series would be classic, 7 great games guaranteed.....and just to see if another wraparound slips by Marty in OT I have a strange feeling it's going to come down to the wire, April 4th, 7:30, Devils/Rags at MSG. Rags in with a win, out with a loss.

Lapointe is a nice player, great skater with great speed but no hands at all. Why would Milbury trade one of his loyal soldiers just because of a remark about getting Palffy in the papers? From what I've heard he was loved in the dressing room and by the fans, so this might affect chemistry.
